The final was nothing short of spectacular with the score deadlocked at 4-4 within the final 10 minutes of the game, but our boys couldn’t quite hang on and lost 6-4 by the final buzzer.

An awesome weekend of lacrosse from and awesome group of kids.

The 2014 Novice Wind It Up Tournament was held on the June 20 – 22 weekend and featured 12 teams battling for top honors.

After a shaky first game, the Red Eagles prevailed with three extremely impressive outings, allowing a combined total of just two goals in their final three games. Their gold medal game was perhaps the most impressive outing of the season winning convincingly against the top team from league play, 7 – 0.

A very impressive finish to a fantastic season. Well done Novice Red Ealges. A victory well deserved.
