After convincing victories in all games leading up to the finals, they found themselves in an outstanding battle in their final game where they were forced to play in a sudden death overtime period to determine the the fate of the game.

A very impressive performance by all and an incredible weekend of lacrosse.

The 2014 Novice Wind It Up Tournament was held on the June 20 – 22 weekend and featured 12 teams battling for top honors.

After a shaky first game, the Red Eagles prevailed with three extremely impressive outings, allowing a combined total of just two goals in their final three games. Their gold medal game was perhaps the most impressive outing of the season winning convincingly against the top team from league play, 7 – 0.

A very impressive finish to a fantastic season. Well done Novice Red Ealges. A victory well deserved.
